About

West Haven House of Hope is a nonprofit 501c3 based out of Benton Harbor, MI. We operate as a sober living home for women in recovery struggling with substance use disorders. We are a structured, family-like support system in a safe residential home. We provide individual case management services and resources for treatment, counseling, medical, educational, and other resources the women may need to aid them in their recovery journey. We help build confidence, encouragement, and support that empowers the women to live sober productive lifestyles outside of structured living.

Meet the Founder

My name is Kimberly West. I was born and raised in Benton Harbor, MI. I hold a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing from Tusculum University. I have worked in various leadership roles for Whirlpool Corporation for the past 22 years. Prior to this I worked at Spectrum Community Services for 8 years as the Program Specialist with the Developmental Disabled. I have a solid strong work ethic and a self-motivator. I am  passionate about giving back to my community, to help bridge gaps, advocate for women, and help to break the generational curse of addictions. West Haven House of hope is a program developed from a well-documented emerging need to provide additional support and break generational addiction cycles. The name was derived from a collaboration with me and my sons and in memory of their dad, Leotis West Jr.
